I don't think I made any resolutions last year, but if I did I'm sure I didn't live up to them. I am making one now, though, and that is no more plastic bags. I'm ashamed of how many plastic bags I pulled out of the kitchen cabinet where I've been stashing them. They never get reused around here, so I do hereby resolve to stop bringing them home. I'll get some fabric bags that can be folded up and tucked into my purse, and some reusable produce bags, and I'll be all set.
My other resolution is to make my own cleaning solutions, with vinegar and castile soap and essential oils and such. Besides being eco-friendly, I hope this resolution will save me a bit of cash. I whipped up my very first batch of glass cleaner the other day and to my great delight, it works! It's a good start.
Probably everyone has their favorite, but I love my Flip & Tumble bag. You don't fold it, you scrunch it up into a ball, which means it's always wrinkled. But it's so EASY and it ends up small enough to fit in your pocket. On me at least, the strap is long enough to go cross-body in a pinch - great for when I have to hold 2 kids' hands.
...and unsolicited product review over. :)
If you find more cleaners that work, could you possibly post the recipes? I would LOVE to find a good nontoxic toilet bowl, mildew, or oven cleaner.

Cross-body is a definite plus! Thank you for the recommendation. I haven't ventured into other homemade cleaners yet, but will post results when I do. The one thing I can tell you is that denture tablets make a good toilet bowl cleaner. They're also good for stained teapots.
